Worthy Mature Cheddar
A strong and creamy pasteurised mature cheddar made with animal free rennet. It has a soft crumbly texture and is light and sharp with a lingering smooth palette.
Available in three different size truckles (200g, 400g or 900g) and coated in our distinctive black wax it keeps extremely well (at least 2 months). Perfect with... well just about everything really!
Introducing Cornish Gouda made at Lanreath nr Looe by young dutch farmer and cheesemaker Giel Spierring. He won best farmer/producer of 2016 at the Royal Cornwall Show and the Gouda with Cumin was awarded best new product in show. The Mature Gouda has great depth and won Best Hard Cheese 2016 at the national cheese awards in London.
Choose from: Mature Gouda; Gouda with Fenugreek Seeds; and Gouda with cumin seeds.
All versions are available in cut pieces of not less than 250g or 500g.
A powerfully nutty farmhouse Cheddar which has a tickle of smouldering woodchips from Greens of Glastonbury, who have been making cheese for around 100 years. It is traditionally smoked over oak chippings, which retains it's original texture while producing a really full bodied flavour in the mouth and is very different to the fake flavouring many factory cheeses use for smoked cheeses.
It is rumoured to make the best cheese on toast in the known universe and is exceptional when teamed with crusty bread and sweet fruit such as grapes or figs.
This cheese comes pre-packed in wedges of not less than 200g.
For those of you with a taste for a creamy blue cheese we have the fabulous Cornish Blue, which has been produced on the Stansfield’s Farm on Bodmin Moor since 2001.
The sweet mild creamy cheese of distinctive character has been internationally recognised by the many Awards it has won including; World Cheese Awards Champion Cheese in 2010 and Best Blue and English Cheese in 2007.
It is available in cut pieces of not less than 250g.
These three new cheeses are made by Martin Gaylard in Redruth using all Cornish milk.
They are: Miss Wenna, a lovely creamy Brie style cheese made with vegetarian rennet Boy Laity which is a full flavoured Camembert style cheese made with animal rennet The Truffler, a Brie style cheese with truffle oil.
These delicious soft cheeses are 165g each and come in a box which can be baked if you remove the outer layer of paper.
